Our charge for Direct Cremation (without ceremony) includes: basic services of Funeral Director and staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, removal of remains (within 30-mile radius), refrigeration, transportation to the Crematory and the Crematory fee. This charge does NOT include the necessary authorizations or any funeral services or visitation. If you want to arrange a Direct Cremation, a rigid Alternative Container must be used. Alternative Containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composite materials (with or without an outside covering). The container we provide is a cardboard container suitable for identification purposes.
