Obituary

Michael S. Contreras went to join his parents and brother Daniel III in heaven on September 5. 2022.

Michael was born on august 27, 1957 to Alfredo and Rosie Contreras.

He was the seventh child of ten siblings.

Mike will always be remembered as a strong person who enjoyed helping others in need. He believed in helping his neighbor as the Lord taught us.

Michael was a Christian and read the bible daily. Michael joined the U. S. Marines in 1977 and loved being a Marine, he worn his uniform proudly. Michael was a member of the VFW.

Michael is survived by his sister Linda Molder of Oregon; brother in law and Bud and Rose Reifsnyder of Idaho; brother and sister in law Fred and Brenda Contreras of Texas; sister and brother in law Henry and Virginia Castaneda of Nevada; brother and sister in law Robert and Teresa Contreras of Texas; brother and sister in law Larry and Esther of Oregon; brother and sister in law Richard and Debbie of Idaho; brother and sister in law Terry and Carrie Contreras of California, his children son Shawn, daughter Faith, and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and his dog Holly.

Michael will always be remembered as a happy person with a loving heart and giving hand. 

There will be services for Michael in Las Vegas, his final resting place will be at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10100 Horseshoe Bend Road, Boise Idaho.
