Matthew Jacob Rothman

Matthew Jacob Rothman, age 21, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021.
He was born August 6, 1999, and lived in Las Vegas, Nevada with his father Marc Sr his entire life.
Matthew was a very caring person that took care of his ailing father to the best of his ability
for several years before his father passed away.
Matthew is also survived by Marc Rothman Jr (Jennifer)
and Lorali Rothman-Fantrazzo (Ryan),
his siblings on his father’s side, and Stephanie Ogonowski
and Brandon Ogonowski, his siblings on his mother’s side.
He is also survived by his aunt, Lisa Eastman (Tony).

Matthew worked at Smith’s grocery store for several years and made very good friends there.
It was not uncommon to see him riding his skateboard down the street on his way
to work or to the grocery store to buy groceries.
He loved playing video games and collected rare and discontinued food items as well.
He enjoyed cooking and considered going to school to become a chef one day.
He put these plans on hold so that he could be there to take care of his father when necessary.
They were usually together and often, quite comically, fought like an old married couple.
Matthew had his life ahead of him, and the loss of him is a tragedy.

A funeral service will be held at Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial,
1111 Las Vegas Blvd N Las Vegas, Nevada, 89101
on Friday, May 21, 2021, at 10 a.m.
