LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – Charles Rayburn Scott, age 81, of Las Vegas, Nevada,
passed away from complications during a procedure to replace his aortic valve on Tuesday, June 2, 2020.

Charles (“Chuck”) was born in Lenoir[NSS1]  City, Tennessee, the only child of
Charles Eugene Scott and Willie Miller Scott.
His family moved to Paducah, Kentucky where he attended
Paducah Tilghman High School, graduating in 1957.
Chuck’s parents worked hard to send him to college and he didn’t disappoint them.

Business Administration in 1960 from The Southeast Missouri State College.

After college graduation, Chuck had a successful career working for the
U.S. Government, starting his career as an auditor with the Department of the
Army in St. Louis, Missouri and eventually moving to the
Washington, D.C. area to work at the State Department.
After his retirement from the government, Chuck ran a translation and printing
business in Northern VA, Linguamundi, International.

Chuck retired in 1998 and moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he lived with his wife,
Ester Angeles-Scott (his beloved Wooly Bear).
He enjoyed spending time with Ester in their backyard garden and visiting with their
friends in Las Vegas and his three children.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Ester and three children from his first marriage to
Mona Sarles Scott, Robin Jones, Jonathon Scott and Tara Prochazka,
as well as five grandchildren, Bryan Jones, Kasey Scott,
