Alan Joseph Guice

Alan Joseph Guice, age 67, passed away suddenly on November 24,2020.
He has now reunited with his mother, Mary Gennaro Guice.

Alan is survived by his friend and former wife,
Robyn McAninch and his one and only child,
Jennifer Spring, his son in law, Greg Spring,
his two beautiful grandchildren: KaitLyn and Sean
and his beautiful great granddaughter, Peytyn.
He also leaves behind a  brother, sister, nieces and nephews.
Alan was a Boatswain mate in the Navy,
a jack of all trades and a master of none.
Alan was a River Rat in the Vietnam War,
Shire Drilling in Texas, a Merchant Marine in California,
a fire fighter at Nellis Air Force Base and
in security at the casinos in Las Vegas.
Not very many people knew Alan,
but everyone benefited from his sacrifice and service in the Navy.
Alan is a hero to so many especially to his daughter and his grandchildren.
One of Alan’s famous sayings was, “ Only the good die young” and he was absolutely correct.
He was an amazing man and loved so much by the family he has left behind.
No service will be held at this time.
His family will bury him with his mother in the future.
Instead of flowers or money please honor my father and his memory
by thanking a Veteran for their sacrifice and bravery.
