Robert Antulio Martinez

Son of Paulina Romero & “Tony” Martinez, born July 1, 1934, U.S. Army Presidio San Francisco. Attended Mission High School & Mechanic Trade School in San Francisco. His first job was a mechanic for Greyhound Bus, served in the U.S. Army stationed in Korea. Joined the Merchant Marines sailing aboard ships & subs for many years. He became a Chief Electrician, receiving many awards for his electrical achievements. In later years worked at the shipyards, in San Francisco, Hawaii and Vallejo. Robert lived in San Francisco, CA; San Jose, CA; Vallejo, CA; Felton, CA; Honolulu, HI and lastly Las Vegas NV.

He was laid to rest on March 10, 2022, to join his wife Helen Rose Lee who proceeded his death in 2010. They were married 44 years and had no children.

Robert is survived by his brother and two sisters. His brother Albert Martinez, nephews Jeffery Martinez & Dennis Martinez, also his other nephews of Salisbury, South Africa Robert Martinez, Dennis Martinez; niece Sarah Martinez, sister Evelyn Martinez, nephew George Martinez Padilla, niece Christine Martinez Rodriguez, nephew Michael McGlinn Martinez (who proceeded his death), his sister Cecelia Martinez Gaxiola, nephews David Gaxiola and Michael Anthony Andrade (who proceeded his death) and many more great nephews & nieces.
