Cynthia Ann Smith(Cindy) passed away peacefully at home in North Las Vegas, Nevada on January 15, 2022 from many existing health issues at the age of 69. She was born on July 28, 1952 to Inise and Howard Spendlove in Caliente, Nevada. She married the love of her life, her late husband Michael Smith on February 14, 1988. In Cynthia’s early life, working in the darkroom for Lady Luck Casino is where she found her passion of the arts. She loved being close to her family and when her husband got sick she devoted all of her time and attention to taking care of him as his caregiver. Cynthia was many things in her life but selfless describes her the best. Living right next door to her parents Cynthia was able to provide the care that they needed as well. She enjoyed doing almost any crafts in her spare time but her favorite craft time was when she could teach her loved ones something new. Her family will remember her real love of the outdoors through the memories made from camping, fishing, and other family events.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, Inise and Howard Spendlove; her husband Michael Smith; two of her children Valerie Oram-Clark and Peter Smith; one of her very best friends Mary Bollinger, and her beloved dog who has always been apart of the family, Babi Smith. Cynthia is survived by two of her children, Jennifer Gammel and Sheila Bane; her siblings, Virginia Steinbach, Jeanna Raabe and Bill Spendlove; her several grandchildren, Tennessa Ferrell, Emily Spendlove, Johnathan Gammel, Shelby Gammel, Leola Radtke, Franklyn Gammel, Samantha Bane, Jake Clark, Roxanne Clark, Rebecca Clark, Kevin Smith, and Nicholas Smith; and her great grandchildren Annabelle Ferrell, Leah Champeau, Kayli Champeau, Ranger Champeau, Jaxon Radtke, and Matthew Radtke.
