Angelina Ester Landers, age 85, of Las Vegas Nevada, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, June 20, 2025, at her daughter’s residence in Oceanside, California.
She was born August 17, 1939, in Belen New Mexico, a daughter of the late Ernesto Gutierrez and Maria Candelaria “Candy” Jaramillo.
Angie was a longtime resident of Las Vegas, Nevada. She worked as a 21 dealer at the Mint Hotel for 35 years during the “old school” Las Vegas era.
Angie loved with her whole heart and enjoyed making everyone laugh. She will always be remembered for her mischievous sense of humor and her love for the holidays.
The obituary photo was captured by her son Danny and daughter-in-law Shannon Landers in Maui, during their drive on The Road to Hana. This was during a special vacation for her daughter Ramona’s wedding to Jim McGinnis in September of 2012, where she proudly walked Ramona down the aisle at Kapalua Beach.
Angelina is survived by her children: son, Anthony Landers, daughter Ramona (and Jim) McGinnis, and Danny (and Shannon) Landers.
Angelina was preceded in death by her brother Arnold Jaramillo. She is survived by her siblings; Carmel Gallegos, Rosa Oliveria, Betty Hunter, Robert Jaramillo, Peggy Tompkins, Ernest Jaramillo Jr., Mary Musolino, Teresa Killion, Christine Mahlum and Debra Wilson.
Angelina had a soft spot for her furry grandchildren Jake and Archie, treating both of them like the valuable family members they are.
Angelina's loss is deeply felt by her immense family and all those who knew and loved her. Her memory will continue to live on and inspire strength, resilience, and generosity in those whose lives she touched.
Per Angelina's request, there will not be memorial services held.
