Ana Grace Jaramillo
November 2, 2021
On November 2, 2021, Ana peacefully fell asleep at home with family by her side.
85 years young, she died of natural causes.
Lil Ana, Ana from Panama, Ana Banana, Aunt Ana, Tia Ana, and Nana are each
endearing terms that family and friends used over the years. To us, she will always be
“Mom”. She gave us roots and wings, the living example of a Proverbs 31 woman. In
our home, Mom always said and reaffirm “You can do and be anything you want.” “Your
word is your bond.” and “Guard your reputation.” Those kind of values coupled with
kindness and support remain throughout the family. Mom’s unconditional love and
commitment to her family is her primary legacy next to her faith in God, Jesus Christ as
her Lord and Savior.
As a true faith-in-action woman, Ana lived with an open-door policy. Everyone was
welcome. Always available to offer gracious and loving advise and experience, she
never gave a cross word to anyone. Her infectiously sincere, big smile, and clever
antidotes delivered with her adorable accent, from her petite stature are unforgettable!
She was a pure joy to be around.
Ana Grace was preceded in death by ‘... so great a cloud of witnesses , , , ‘ including
her parents Eduardo Levoyer and Georgina Mesa, and Luis Humberto Blanco; her
sister Dora E. Sligh and husband Tom P. Sligh; and baby brother Wither A. Levoyer; her
son in law David E. Johnson; and the husband of her youth and father of her children
Roman (Ray) H. G. Jaramillo.
She is survived by their children: Edie Johnson, Connie Rego, and Kevin (Cathy)
Jaramillo all of Las Vegas, and Nina (Bill) Washawanny of South Florida. Ana is
survived by what she often claimed to be nine of the most beautiful grandchildren in the
world! Her grandchildren: Stephanie, Travis (Heather), Isaiah, Daniel, JoVan, Nikolas,
Lyndsay (Patrick), Josh (Darbie), and Faith. She was also blessed with a handful of
great grandchildren, and many talented, accomplished nieces and nephews across the
United States, and South America.
The family expresses deepest gratitude to the family and friends of Ana and will honor
Ana Grace with a Life Celebration at Canyon Ridge Christian Church in Las Vegas at
2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2, 2021.
